This was driven by the success of the Oracle Solution An Post has deployed with Vertice advice for its Big Data Analytics Platform, which has also now been utilised for other solutions as a generic consolidation platform. Thus via consolidation onto a single platform and also via use of the Oracle Cloud offerings on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, this then has benefit to the organisation of reducing costs, but also improving the sustainability.
An Post having moved to Oracle Cloud Solutions for Analytics and EPM, thus now using Oracle on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS…after they were one of the first in the world on Oracle PaaS back in 2014. This has led to a reduced footprint on “on premise” servers and has further reduced the overall server footprint in their data centres.Vertice are very pleased to be the joint recipient of the award with An Post!
