Oracle Global Excellence Award 2016 – Open World Ceremony!

Jeff Henley, Oracle Executive Vice Chairman of the Board, and Jon Chorley, Oracle’s Chief Sustainability Officer, presented the 2016 Oracle Sustainability Innovation Awards to select customers at Oracle Open World in San Francisco.

This award recognizes customers who are committed to making environmental issues a priority across the enterprise.

This year’s award winners showcased unique ways to reduce costs and improve business efficiencies through innovative green practices using Oracle technology.

“We are inspired by the important work and great success achieved by Oracle customers committed to a sustainable future,” said Jon Chorley, Chief Sustainability Officer and Group Vice President of Product Strategy, Oracle.

“These customers have implemented Oracle technologies in a way that improved business efficiencies, reduced costs, and ultimately supported their eco-transformation. We are honoured  to award these organizations and their partners with a 2016 Oracle Sustainability Innovation Award.”

As the top nominee, both John Cronin, Group Chief Information Officer at An Post and Tony Cassidy, CEO from Vertice received Oracle’s 2016 “Chief Sustainability Officer” of the Year award.

An Post believes that sustainability is a central element of its business success; delivering high quality and affordable services, and respecting the communities and the environment in which it operates.
